My entrance to psychotherapy and counselling evolved over many of years of training, personal therapy and life experience. I work with peoples of all ages and have experience with many personal issues including depression, anxiety, relationship problems both between couples and extended families. I have also worked extensively with people addicted to drugs and alcohol. In addition I use mindfulness, breathing techniques, visualisation and bodywork to enhance the outcome.

Every person is unique therefore I work eclectically with my clients, adapting to the needs of the individual in order to achieve the best possible outcome – i.e. make positive changes in their lives and reconnect with their inner strengths. Many of us have habitual patterns in our lives that we continue to repeat until these patterns, and their original source, are brought into consciousness. Very often we might feel stuck, unable to change our ways. This is where inner work, through psychotherapy and counselling, can help. Therapy can be brief, medium term or long term, depending on individual needs.

I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is of primary importance. This unique relationship allows space for a person to be supported and understood in a safe environment while undertaking a journey of self-discovery and insight.
